When there is a lack of sperm count in the semen of a man or the presence of sperm is negligible, then this condition is called azoospermia. Azoospermia is a very big problem that occurs in the semen of men, which is the main reason for male infertility. According to experts, azoospermia is directly related to male infertility.

Types Of Azoospermia

There are mainly two types of azoospermia.

1. Obstructive Azoospermia- In obstructive azoospermia, sperm are produced but they are unable to reach the semen due to blockage of the testicles.

2. Non-obstructive Azoospermia- Men who have non-obstructive azoospermia do not produce sperm or are not produced at all. In non-obstructive azoospermia, sperm are unable to leave the testicles.

There are also two types of non-obstructive azoospermia. The first is pre-testicular azoospermia and the second is testicular azoospermia. In pre-testicular azoospermia, the testicles of the male are completely normal but sperm are not produced. This is a completely different type of azoospermia.
